Russian-born iconographer Vladislav Anderejev has been teaching in the United States since 1985. Over the years, Mr. Andrejev's iconographic

techniques and teaching methods developed into a distinct school of painting and interpretation, which led to the founding of the

Prosopon School of Iconology in 2000.

In the DVD, Mr. Andrejev will himself demonstrate the steps of the iconographic process while explaining the theological meaning behind each step.

This instructional video is meant for anyone with an interest in the ancient art of icon writing as practiced in the present day.
